"What's to exchange?", is a film written and directed by Josemar Gonzalez, as part of a series of short films that use the absurd and mundane to explore deeper meanings in the hidden subtlety of every day life. In this film the director inputs himself into the story as part of the cast to revisit a real life experience and use the language of cinematography to tell a story.
Synopsis: A lone traveler steps into a café that feels strangely familiar yet eerily advanced, in a border city somewhere in an undefined time, questioning our place in a society where even a simple transaction can leave one feeling profoundly out of place.
