Apocatastasis (83mins/2021) written, produced and directed by Shinpei Takeda
"This film is one of the first art works that I have created around my own personal story dealing with grief and the loss of my older brother due to the narco violence experienced in Mexico. Through the use of performance, theater and a self exploratory process, I was able to collaborate with Shinpei Takeda and wrote my own dialogue to help shape the narrative of the story. The experience of being the actor and reliving traumatic experiences is cathartic and in some form, healing." - Josemar Gonzalez
