These images were created using photographs from the Borderclick's living archive and AI image making engines. The AI was prompted to imagine a dismantling of the US and Mexico border, with the artists intent to create a futuristic border landscape. The result of combining AI with Borderclick's photographs create surreal landscapes that are visually familiar to the communities that live along the US and Mexico border. The images show a dismantling of the border in a sci-fi future comparable to popular sci-fi media.
