Documenting Inscription

A video documentary of artist Shinpei Takeda and his site specific installation BETA DECAY 7 at the New Americans Museum in Point Loma, California. Directed, filmed, and edited by Josemar Gonzalez Lizarraga. Music by Toni Cozano, Ghost Magnet Roach Motel.

In this film I dive into Takeda's installation process. We spent long days into the evening, filming, sharing space and conversation. During that time Takeda shares what arrival means to him, and what the stories of coming and going represent.
