ACDQ

A Cambio de Qué? is part of a series of short films using the absurd and the mundane to get at what sits underneath ordinary life. Failing technology, money that vanishes, a system pushed past the point where it makes sense. The story comes from something that actually happened to me, so I put myself in the cast to play it out.

A lone traveler steps into a café that feels strangely familiar yet eerily advanced, in a border city somewhere in an undefined time, questioning our place in a society where even a simple transaction can leave one feeling profoundly out of place.
